On the evening of
Thursday July 13, 2006, the Wyoming Department of
Transportation (WYDOT) held a Public Open House and Information Meeting
regarding the
Douglas Streets Environmental Assessment. The purpose of this meeting
was to update
the public on the status of the Douglas Streets Environmental Assessment (EA) and gather
their input. All who attended had the opportunity to discuss the
proposed projects with study team members and provide comments.
If you missed the meeting, please see the
What's New? page for details on
information presented that evening and what you can do to make
your comments heard.
The Douglas Streets EA is being conducted to address proposed
roadway improvements on U.S. 20, 26, & 87, beginning approximately
at the East Douglas Interchange with I-25, and extending west along
Richards, turning north on 4th Street, continuing west on Center
Street, crossing the BNSF tracks and ending 0.25 miles east of the
of the Platte River. The map link below shows the limits of the
environmental assessment area. Please note that this is a .pdf
document, and therefore requires the use of Adobe Reader.
